usernames, passwords and login website addresses. In fact, if

and apply to 8-10 merchants that you're planning to promote on your
new website.
How
do I apply to Commission Junction?

link. When you
arrive on the CJ.com website click on the “Publishers Join”
link and complete the application.
Upon completion of the application, CJ.com will e-mail
you a passcode to access your account area.
Print
them and put them in a binder.

During
the registration process you will be asked to enter your
"Website URL" (domain name) and to "Describe Your
Site". This is the description that some merchants
will use to determine whether to accept or reject you as an
affiliate ...so be accurate and detailed.

Some
merchants will only accept US based affiliates.
Because of this, we recommend that you use a US mailing
address.

Once
you’ve received your passcode, you will then want to apply to
a 8-10 merchants to get started.
Some merchants will approve you instantly, while some
will want to first review your completed website.
Because of this we recommend that you apply only to a few
merchants until your site is up.

to applying to any other affiliate programs, be sure that you’re
web pages are published with no incomplete information as all of the

What if I get rejected?
About
80% of the merchants will approve you automatically when you
apply. The other 20% approve manually after having a look at
your website. Some typical reasons
for rejection include:

Your
website is obviously incomplete or under construction

merchant is not currently accepting new affiliates

A
merchant may view your website as "off topic" for
their products or services
If
you are rejected by a few merchants, make the necessary adjustments
and then send off a nice e-mail stating the reasons you would
like to market their products or services.

following each of the steps listed on the Self Promotion website.
