Guarantees with a Credit Card Online Application
It's wonderful to have guarantees in the world. But I'm sure you've heard of the only 2 real guarantees in life. Death and Taxes. Now, that's not to say that some other great guarantees might not come your way, but just beware when someone with a credit card online application offers you a guarantee.
There are some credit card companies that will offer you a credit card online application
guaranteeing that you are approved for credit. Check it out.
And usually they contact people who have less than perfect credit and people who are a little desperate to use credit again, and therefore, a little bit vulnerable. Here are 2 things to watch out for.
Firstly, a company with a credit card online application may entice you by stating that you are pre-approved for credit, but what they are really saying is that you are pre-approved to fill out a credit card online application. Be sure you know what you are signing. If you are simply filling out a credit card online application, this will worsen your credit history. Every time a lender or credit provider looks into your credit history, your credit rating goes down slightly. This may not mean much if you have good credit, but if your credit rating is already a little sensitive, it could drop you a few points and make further borrowing tougher.
And secondly, with a credit card online application, make sure that your application fees, account set up fees and annual fees don't add up to the total amount of your credit. For example, a company may guarantee you a line of credit of $250, but after $250 worth of start up fees, etc., you have incurred $250 more in debt for the privilege of owning a credit card with a maxed out limit.
There are many good credit card companies out there, and many that offer a good credit card online application, but just make sure you know what you're signing, and how much you have to pay to get in when they say you are guaranteed approval on a credit card.
Remember, many great credit cards such as Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Visa, Providian, Aria, and Capital One offer instant online application approval. Many offer free secured and unsecured credit cards, and student cards as well. Applying online is fast and many offer great services.
