Looking for a free consumer credit report on-line? Well, they are hard to come by, because there are only a handful of credit agencies willing to give them away. Here are a couple reasons why it is in your best interest to look over your credit history. One is to check for inaccuracies or omissions before they could negatively affect you credit rating, and two, is to find out why you’ve been denied or granted credit. The information on your credit report is the same information used by lenders concerning your credit history.
