One of the most important things you can do in maintaining your financial house is to view your credit report online. Mistakes and errors do happen, and unless you are aware of them, you have no way of knowing that corrections need to be made. These errors on your credit report can do the most damage when you can least afford it, which is when you are applying for a loan. Do not think that you are invincible and it can not happen to you, because you are then lying to yourself.
I know this for a fact, I thought I was invincible. When it came for me to buy out my car, from the lease I was in, I could not get a loan anywhere. I applied all over the place, not knowing that when I applied at all of these different loan companies all the inquires on my credit report made me look even worse.
