The GM credit card master card can help you save for a GM car or truck
Use the GM credit card Master Card to save towards purchasing or leasing a new GM car or truck. What an incentive! Every purchase you make on any GM credit card Master Card 5% of it goes towards the purchase or lease of a new GM car or truck (excluding Saturn, Saab, or EVI).
With the older GM credit card Master card you can accumulate $500 in GM card earnings every account year. The 5% does not apply to Cash Advances or use of additional Balance Transfer Checks and Convenience Checks. You can even get earnings on balance transfers. Other benefits with the GM Master Card include: GM Card Balance Transfer Checks and Convenience Checks, $150,000 travel accident insurance, additional cards at no extra cost, and no annual fee.
The GM Blue credit card Master card includes everything above but also allows up to $3500 earnings every account year, and a Protection Plan/Buyer’s Assurance Plan.
The ‘New’ GM credit card Master card offers all of the above with some additions and revisions: There’s no maximum cap on earnings every year. You can redeem your earnings for non-auto purchases, like discounts towards American Airlines, GM Vacations, Marriott hotels, as well as National & Alamo rent-a-car. There are also 'redemption allowances' placed on each vehicle make/model.
