Credit Card Number: Beware of that garbage can!
Some people think that giving out your credit card number over the internet is very risky. Actually, using a credit card on the internet is in many way safer than conventional ways.
Think of these situations. Let's say that you're out having dinner and you give the waiter your credit card. What's to stop him from making a copy of your credit card information. Or how about when you order something over the phone. Once again, the order taker can easily take a copy of your credit card number.
And finally, if you throw out copies of your credit card receipts into the garbage, it is very easy for someone to rummage through the can and take advantage of you. With so much purchasing being done over the internet, webmasters are using secure sites to assure customer safety. And this is a whole lot safer than the trusty waiter or thegarbage can.
