Aria Visa Credit: Make sure you press the right button
You must always be careful what kind of credit card you order. This story is about a guy who ordered an Aria Visa Credit Card. Here's how it goes.
He saw an online ad for the 0% intro rate on the Aria Visa Credit Card. He was looking at the terms for the platinum card and they seemed inline with other platinum cards that he had. He emailed the application in and the screen confirmed that he had ordered the Portrait card.
Just to make sure, he looked at the terms for the Portrait card and was shocked to see that he had just ordered a card that had a variable interest rate with a minimum rate of 19.99%, and annual fee of $59, and no grace period on purchases. Oops.
He emailed them right away, but the account had already been processed. They said that they would reverse everything and make sure he got the right card. They finally did it after much hassle and worry.
The moral of the story is when you're ordering a credit card, make sure you fill out the forms properly, and make sure you are ordering exactly what you want. The ordering takes minutes, the undoing takes days or weeks of correspondence.
