Looking for tasteful companions? Find yourself some tea books!
Online tea books are easy to find. Since green tea was discovered in China a few thousand years ago, there have been countless tea products with varying properties and benefits. The tea books bridge an important information gap between the tea industry and its consumers.
One interesting tea book is Sharon Tyler Herbst’s 2nd edition of The Food Lover’s Companion. Some information from tea books is presented on the Web by Tea: Epicurious Food Dictionary, and its the bomb in authenticity and holistic approach.
Also check out Diana Rosen’s Chai: The Spice Tea of India (153 pages, Paperback); The New Tea Lover’s Treasury by James Norwood Pratt, 2nd edition, in which the author finally departs from his previous Eurocentric approach and tries to discuss Asia's role in this product. The Book of Tea by Anthony Burgess (256 pages, Hardcover) is a gorgeous "coffee-table" tea book with beautiful photos and informative text.
